One of them, Kodiak, was woken up by Rankin to find out the reason the alarm was triggered and was killed by Bellamy and Echo. As a quest to solve the group's fuel problems they flew to Eligius IV and found 284 prisoners in cryo-sleep. Raven tried to radio the ship, but there was no response. On the Ark, John Murphy saw the station in the distance. It is left forever abandoned after most of humanity achieves Transcendence and the remainder returns to live out their lives on Earth which is once again habitable.Ħ years after Praimfaya, the Gagarin, A transport ship from Eligius IV landed on Earth, carrying Charmaine Diyoza and 15 other prisoners, along with Miles Shaw. The ship is eventually abandoned in the moon's orbit after relative peace is established on Sanctum's surface. However, when it was believed that Earth was still uninhabitable, Monty set the ship on a course for a new potential homeworld for humanity in another solar system before he died of old age after his wife, having discovered after 30 years of work that Eligius III had been a colony mission to settle five other potentially habitable worlds. It was a refuge for the sole survivors of the human race, who were originally planning on staying on the ship in stasis for a decade until the Earth would be habitable after the Damocles Event.

One of the engines on Eligius IV is damaged due to the mutiny, making the ship slower at reaching any destination. On the side of the haul, it states "Powering a Better Tomorrow."
